Herein, we present the synthesis of two novel adamantane appended supramolecular self-associating amphiphiles. The antimicrobial efficacy these compounds is determined against both clinically relevant Gram-positive methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Escherichia coli. We also explore self-associative properties amphiphiles in polar organic DMSO-d6 0.5% H2O (D2O)/EtOH 19:1 solutions, confirming aggregate stability through determination zeta potential values, size a combination 1H NMR DOSY dynamic light scattering studies as appropriate, critical concentration derivation concentration-dependent surface tension values. perform variety dilution in-silico modelling to further roles intermolecular hydrogen bonding lipophilicity within formation efficacy.
